Grassroots Organiser (remote, UK)

Do you envisage a world free from animal suffering? Do you care about the plight of factory farmed animals? Do you have some spare time to give to help us end the abuse of animals raised for food?

If so, we'd love for you to join our Volunteer community. This role can be done from anywhere, no matter where you are in the UK. No prior experience is required, just a passion and drive to make a difference. There is no set time commitment, but roughly 4-6 hours a month is average for this role, depending on how many Grassroots events you wish to organise each month.

As a Grassroots Organiser, you will inspire and support people in your local area to take action for the animals, organising community events including Meet-ups, protests and public outreach on a regular basis. Your role is to bring people together in order to effect change. Being a warm, friendly and approachable person, like-minded people will feel comfortable to join you and get involved, taking action together to end the abuse of animals raised for food.

Through the actions and events you organise locally, you will help to open the eyes of the general public to the abhorrent truth of factory farming, spreading awareness and encouraging people to make different dietary choices. Your grassroots events will also add vital pressure onto our target companies, encouraging them to commit to better for the animals currently trapped in their supply chains.

If you agree with our vision, and you want to do your part to help end the abuse of animals raised for food, join our team today.

PLEASE NOTE: we aim to get you started within 3 weeks of your application so please ensure this is the right time for you to onboard with us.
